Re: Stringing 101...Help!
Thanks again to all you guys.......Bill T.- I am so thankful you care about your customers, it seems my loops were a bit big over the mag tips and I adjusted every thing and had 10 great shots this evening. My brace height is 2 inches but I will wait a bit before I tinker again with twisting/untwist...

Re: Stringing 101...Help!
Hey vixenmaster and wheelie also....I will test everything after work tomorrow-I think the loops were a bit big, like you said so I will give them an extra twist before hooking them on the grooves. Thanks again for your input,

Stringing 101...Help!
Hey guys, just wondering how to solve this problem- After stringing my exomag with a new flemish string (with the proper brace height) it has been flying off the mag tip grooves when I pull the trigger. This happens maybe 4 out of 6 tries....Any suggestions.......?

Stringing 101...Help!
Hey guys....can't seem to get my new flemish string to position on the the rail(deck) between the two scored marks ....After I remove my stringing aid, the string is pressed up right against the front rinser for 2 secs. then one side pops off (string falls off the groove). Very frustrating.. Called ...

Got a fawn, first Xbow Deer!!!!!
Hey guys, what's up? I am still reeling from last Sunday's morning hunt, freezing my butt off and nearly giving up before I saw movement through trees, about 40 yds away. I was in my hanging stand 20 ft up and had an excellent view to study this button buck who was nibbling and grazing from tree to ...

Hey Grey Owl......
Hi Grey Owl, I definitely took a chance and I totally understand the lack of response. Anyway, I still have 2 spots that are decent. Hope you have a good season out there in SK. I heard the deer may be diseased (mad deer?).....Hope not, talk to you later,

Anyone interested in 'sharing' or trading hunting locations?
Hey there guys. Looking forward to the upcoming season here in South-Central Ontario. I and my cousin have 2 spots we normally hunt (and are pretty good), yet we were hoping to expand and find a new spot ideally near Caledon or as far East as Keswick (maybe further).. Anyway, just thought if there's...

Hey Grey Owl, Hoss, thought I'd give my 2 cents worth...
Hey guys, myself I rarely respond on this site (true reason, I was really hoping to get a deer in my first season with an xbow, but no cigar, so I feel a bit embarassed!).. However, I had to say something here- two obviously passionate hunters who have diifferent perspectives are clashing and I know...

Winding concern..........Help!
Guys, congratulations on your successes so far.... .Myself, I've been out 4 times already, seen deer each time and my biggest problem is crosswinds (or gusts swirling suddenly) which winds deer within about 25 yards of my stand. My treestand is set up downwind (if a NW wind is present) of deertrails...

Buck knives & Question about 3D shoot
Hey there- Can anybody recommend a decent buck knife I can find that isn't too pricey?
Also just wondering if there is a limit (on draw weight) to practice at the Islington 3-D Shoot next Sunday (I have an exomag)
Thanks guys....

Hey Grey Owl, sounds like I'm in the same boat as you- first time in a tree stand (15ft made with lumber) and I get a rush just thinking about the upcoming season. It's also my first time hunting with a x-bow. It sounds like you have a great chunk of land out there in Sask., and I would love to see ...

Turkey Calls to attract deer?
Hey guys, just read an article which suggested 2 interesting things: 1- Using a turkey call en route to your tree stand to attract deer to a 'safe area' (deer and turkey eat similar plants apparently) and this also would muffle the foreign noise you make trudging through. 2- While in the stand grunt...
