Re: distractd for one moment(graphic pics)
Redmandant, mine looked like yours except the end of my thumb was GONE from the middle of the nail. All my "friends" asked, "well, did you go look for the end of your thumb, the Dr. might could have sewn it back on"? I just ask them do they know how far that thing must have gone?...

Re: What Do Your Licenses Cost?
I think Tennessee's rationale for charging for different weapons is some guys only bow hunt, so they need a tag, some guys just gun hunt, so they need a tag, some just hunt with muzzleloader and need a tag. It's ok for "one weapon hunters", but for those of us who hunt with all 3, it's jus...

Lifetime 13-50 yrs old.........1620 CRAZY!!!! Lifetime 51-64 yrs old..........945 STILL CRAZY!!! Crazy?!! I'd be running to their office to pay!!! Say you pay when you're 18 y/o and you hit the dirt nap at 75, that's 57 years of possible hunting. So $1,620 / 57 = $28.42 per year! Considering the fa...

Re: Trophy cam help
Good reply Boo. I am pretty sure the older models were limited to 2 gigs. I know that is what I run in mine and they are both trouble free. I have formated them both ways. I have one of the first BTC's, use only Sandisk SD cards and formatted with the camera when I got it. I'm glad I read this post...

Re: Deer Cam Pics
I went to Tractor Supply Friday and got a bag of pellets and a bale of alfalfa hay. Soon as my feeder needs reloading, I'm adding the pellts.

Re: your deer feeder idea's
That's a good idea also Dave, but would not work in my situation because there are to many tree's nearby where the coons can go up and jump from one branch to another to get to the tree that would have the metal flashing on it. Here is my first try at my feeder, I still have to fix something up to ...

16 Foot Python Swallows Deer
In the February issue of Woods N' Water, a Florida based publication, there is an amazing article with pictures. A crew spraying exotic vegetation in the Everglades discoved the Burmese Python. The snake weighed 215 lbs. and was 44" around before the deer was removed. The doe weighed 76 pounds ...

Re: your deer feeder idea's
Coons and squirrels are experts at getting to food. I put a bird feeder in the middle of a 1/8" steel cable mid-way between 2 trees 20 feet apart. Looked out one day and a squirrel was "walking" upside down on the cable to get to the feeder. My pellet gun took care of him. I have a Mo...

Re: Feeding Corn
Raymond, I use shelled corn in my feeders sometimes 6 to 8 months out of the year and get plenty of pictures and turkeys and bears that just love it. I also started feeding some Alfalfa pellets this year in my feeders to mix with the corn and the deer love these also. The key to the Alfalfa pellets...

Re: What bolt setup is everyone using?
I use exactly the same setup you described and with the Vortex, it is very accurate. When I first got my Vortex, I was all worked up to get "this and that". Bought a couple of dozen GT raw bolts and built my own, but have the Lumenoks on just 3 of them. Find what you like and stick with it...

Re: removing action
Hankenhunter is right about removing the stock. When I did, I pulled from the front end. I did not realize it until the trigger did not want to catch. A call to Danny Miller determined the problem and I sent him the rail with the trigger assembly. You could not tell the trigger was bent just by look...
