Very sad story. Unfortuantly when we hunt big game we are carrying an instrument that is very efficient at killing and all it takes is one moment of carelessness or a silly mistake and your life or someone elses life is over. Please everyone, be very careful out there. My condolences to this mans fa...

We have seen these posts about carbon vs aluminum many times and the single most negative statement against aluminum is that they bend. So what. If I pay $60.00 for a dozen aluminum arrows and bend two a year they last 6 years which amounts to $10.00 a year, big deal. The other argument is that a ca...

Ask this land owner permisson to hunt yourself and add 400 yards to your allready 100 acres. this way you have plenty of area to keep away from this guy.

It maybe a a black duck Ecoaster but it seems to light brown which leads me to belive it is a black/mallard mix. The easiest way to tell are the wing markings. Mallards have black and white on the top and bottom of the speculum. A black duck has only black above and below the speculum. If it is a mi...

I have had a Redfield tracker scope on 3 different crossbows since 1985. It is still mounted on my 165lb Exocet and is still dead on. I also have a Nikon camo scope on my Exocet 200. This is the second year with it and no problems. So I do believe what the scope manufactures have told you

What kind of person can commit such senseless and ruthless acts against children or for that matter against anyone. I just can not imagine the pain in those parents who must bury a child. Go home tonigh...

Farmer, are you using XP operating sysytem? If so just go to your "software repair wizard" on your desk top and "Restore your computer to an earlier time". In other words you can go back a few days (xp backs up your computer automatically at least once a month) or even a month be...

I prefer Aluminum over carbon because as stated previously I could not justify the extra cost when aluminum at least at 35 yards was grouping as well as carbons. Here is an article from the Easton Archery website by Chuck Adams. It is a little lengthly but a very good read. http://www.eastonarchery....

FFF string

Is there anything you guys do to a FFF string before you wax it up real good to get rid of that pain in the arse black die. I am tired of that waxy black gunk all over my hands and fingers everytime I wax up the string or even touch the darn thing.
