I could not agree more DJH aka Madman. These same hunters who want to put an end to these big game "shooting preserves" have no problem themselves shooting pheasants, quail and boars on these same preserves. This I can find no logic in. I myself have never shot big game in a preserve but I...

If this is your first time turkey hunting I would suggest using the shotgun Zeke. But you really don't need a special choke to hunt turkeys with. If you have a standard full choke tube, then screw it in and PATTERN your gun. Some guns like 5's while some others only pattern 4's or 6's real good. Jus...

Hey, hang in there Butcher. Hopefully they will track this thing down and take care of it. Have you tried the University of Pittsburgh. They have a very good medical staff which has helped my daughter with a rare immune disease. I have made the trip to Pittsburgh many times and have allways found th...

Hey Butcher I can relate . Your doctor is right, the strong metalic taste in your mouth is a symtom of sleep apnea. The only thing that has helped me and a few others I know is a change in diet. Try not to eat past 7:00pm and really try to limit your alcohol consumption. Losing weight has also helpe...

2005 season

Well this season is winding down but it has been a real success for me. My youngest daughter took up hunting this year and bagged her first dove and pheasant. I have managed to bag 3 does so far with my new Exocet 200, the latest one this past Saturday. I also got a real nice 8 pointer with my shotg...

Congratulations Huntman. Your life will never be the same, and I mean that in a good way. My children I feel have taught me more than I have taught them. I learned patience, understanding, tolerance, selflessness and the true meaning of love. You are going to have the time of your life. Enjoy.

I believe this thread is getting way out of hand gentlemen. All Jim asked was "how is he starting his bid prices at below what legitimate retailers can buy them for"? All of the sudden everyone seemed to take sides as if there was a need to take one; one side for the consumer and one side ...

Words can not describe the feelings and hurt you are going through Ronster. I can only hope that you have family and friends that can give you support and someone to lean on to help you through your tragic loss.
My sincere condolences to you and your entire family Ronster.
