Finally got a buck

Finally after 2 years of not shooting anything this little guy presented me with a shot I couldn't refuse. I finally got on my way to hunt mule deer after sleeping in (45 mins. late) I get about 2 kms. up the road when I spot a couple of bull elk so I watch them fot about 10 mins. and continue up th...

Any hardware store should be able to get you the bricks. I picked some 1 1/8" x 4 1/2 " x 9" at Home Hardware for about $1.00 or so each, the wood stove dealer wanted $4.50 each. The ones from the hardware store are out lasting the ones from the dealer.

I didn't notice any balance probs at all, if you do just remove the quiver it only takes three seconds. As for cocking by hand no prob with quiver removed , again three seconds to remove although I've only use the cocking aid. As for all you guy's bashing this mount don't knock till you've tried it....

No problem using the rope cocking on mine. Make sure the screws where the quiver mounts to the bracket aren't sticking through, I destroyed a string within three shots. Wyvern then sent me a spacer to raise it up some and within another three shots the string had some light freying before I figured ...

I had to do some modification (shorten) the round studs that the rubber boots are on because my string could not come to full rest. I ended up cutting off about .125" to get it to fit properly. I noticed that my sts on the right side has to be cut as it appears longer then the left sided one. ...

DH, what you should do is to twist the string to raise the brace height or shall I say reduce the pressure of the string against the stoppers until you get some noise. Twist the string only half a turn at a time. When you find that point drop the brace height half a turn of the string and you've pr...

DH, I've set mine so that the string barely has some pressure on the bumpers. The strings are supposed to be served onto the string next to the center serving to prevent any contact between the string material and the bumpers. Rather than serve that material on I think you should replace the center...

String tightening

I read in a post a while back, when tightening the string to turn counter clockwise. I took mine out tonight and notice that I have been turning it clockwise, could this be why my centre serving is seperating. I installed a new string last time I shot and after about 20 shots I noticed that the cent...
