Anyone have the new Phoenix

I own a Exomax, but it is really more crossbow than I need to hunt deer and Turkey with. I know the Phoenix is suposed to be smaller, but is therea huge difference in the two sizewise?

I would like something more manageble in a treestand/groundblind.

If not, I am keeping the Max!

Like someone once said, all Excalibur's will go completely through a deer, it just depends how far you want to chase the bolt after it goes through. Grey Owl I have come to peace with the idea that I will never recover an arrow shot with my Exomax..(In a hunting situation, from a ground blind.) :x

They did at least try to make ammends with the gift certificate, and with free shipping. But, it was a bonehead move to sell the stands. I would write a letter to the general manager of the store, and also to the corporate headquarters. Let them know that more than likely this has cost them a regula...

Cabela's Coupons

Did anyone recieve any of the Cabelas coupons in the mail? The ones for 30.00 off of a 100.00 order? If you did and are not planning on using them prior to the dead line, I sure could use one. Email or PM me, thanks!

Keno, Depends on which area I am baiting....I hunt a couple of areas near home, one is 8 acre field surrounded by woods. I start putting corn out there around September.. The other is a 50 acre farm with good overgrown fence rows that provides good cover, with a thick patch of hardwoods at the backs...
