Canadian Outfitters

Those aren't sound dampeners on Bill T's Exomax on the front page. It is where the FFF string is served back over itself and has frayed a little. My Exomax looks the same way.....

You don't need a crank aid with Max, my rope aid works just fine, and is cheaper too!

Well almost four hours after the shot and three hours of steady rain, we have called off the search. I resorted to a "on all fours" method looking for anything that could tell me of a hit. I did get a good look at the direction she ran, but it was a clear cut high power line easment. There...

Shot a doe tonight

I shot a nice doe at 18 yards. The shot sounded solid, the deer jumped and kicked her back legs high, and bolted. What has me doubting is, I have searched for any sign of blood around the impact rea, and can't find any! :x I am now doubting the shot, I had to shoot through the pass through netting o...

Fast Flemix string

Ok, I bought my Exomax at Cabela's, and I got the Scope accessory pack which included the Fastflemix string. My question, is, how can I tell the difference? I didn't specifically tell them to install the Fastflemix string, but after examing the two strings they look identical.

Horton

I think they are junk, they have this three dot system, but to me they all do is blend together into one big red blur. I had problems with my Horton Red dot, it wouldn't stay zeroed. Called them and they had me send it back, in the mean time Horton recalled the model I had. To make a long story shor...

New shooter here

As a new crossbow hunter, I took my bow out and practiced under "hunting conditions". I hunt mostly out of a groundblind, so I just fire at my Block target from within the blind. Speaking of which, I have found the Double Bull archery Import 5 one of the best. Expensive, but you can't beat...
