I have tried using the same bolt over and over as you mentioned, just to see if I could get it set up right. It seems that adjusting the speed ring has no affect at all. 20 yard crosshair fine. 30 yard chevron fine. I have tried the speed setting from between 275 and about 310, with no difference at...

Easton bolts
I have a bunch of Easton 2216, xx75's.
One bunch has the fletching at a lot more of an angle then the others. These ones were purchased "individually" from Gagnon's, the rest purchased in the Excal 8 packs.
Is this normal??

Still not getting anywhere close to the accuracy as many have described here. Wrecked 2 more bolts and broadheads today in the process. Looks like I have a 20-30 yard xbow. Gonna call Excal tomorrow. I never really plan on shooting past 30 anyways, and never shot at that range initially. I recently ...

What bothers me is that it is high at 50 but low at 40. The 50 yd. point on the scope was used at 40 yds. that's why they were high. Why they were so low at 40 yds. using the 40 yd. pin, I guess we had to be there. Good Heavens. I have such a terrible headcold that my head feels as though it's stuff...

If your 20 is good (most important at initial set-up), and your 30 is good (or at least decent) then everything else should be OK. If you are getting variables of up and down then all that is left is user error, Dumbazz. :D If you are continuously high/low then it is a speed ring issue. Comparing y...

Thanks Tye....but I might have to buy you a case of beer to set this up for me!!!!!! So, I am at 300 now on the scope. To raise the bolt up 6 inches at 40 yards, what do you suggest I move it to?? Obviously I am going to go bit by bit, but can you give me a starting point? And then once I have the s...

I am pretty sure my bolts are all matched up pretty good, as they all shot very similar. OK, with regards to the scope adjustment, this is where I get confused. Do I adjust the speed dial at 30, 40 and 50?? So 30 would be where it is now at 300 cause is it shooting well. So at 40 I should adjust the...
