I have heard of that but never experianced it. I have even taken a few long shots 40 and 47 yards where a deer would have a fraction of a second to respond to string noise and it just wasn't a problem. Can't say it ain't happened to others but not me, thankfully.

I also think coons. We has a similar situation at our place. 150 lbs of corn and 20 los of aapples gone and no clear tracks. Then we saw them two coons helping themsleves.

The Ohio dealer is most likley Dan Miller of Horizontial Archery. He is very helpfull, and by the way builds great bolts as well.

Anybody out there have a good used Vixen they want to sell? Hopefully it would have a quiver and scope already on it. Also I am looking for a maxzone scope for my exomag if anybody has one of for sale I'd be interested.
