Re: First Crossbow Kills Leave me Wondering about Broadheads

Congrats on your Does. By chance are you hunting on the ground? I have to agree with the others that the shot is a little high. It would be perfect from a tree stand as your exit hole would be lower and then you would have a great blood trail. I think that your choice of broad heads is fine. Just ai...

Re: wich trail cam?

Hey BPS has the Primos 35 on sale for $99. Great camera we have had no issues with it. Great pics and good battery life. We also have a Wildgame camera. The first one did not work and was returned with no issues. The replacement works great. No complains about it either. Good luck with which ever ca...

Re: Best Climber Treestand for XBow

I use the Realtree EZ Hanger to hang my bow when in my Viper. I also bring some dollar store hooks for my backpack and other accessories. I never leave my stand in the bush. I have a few favorite trees but it all depends on the wind.

Re: Best Climber Treestand for XBow

I also use the Viper SS and love it. I also have the folding foot rest. I would highly recommend this stand. My cousin just bought the Viper SD. Best price that we could find in Ontario was $299 at Archers Nook in London. Good Luck with which ever stand you choose and Happy Hunting.

Oldest Buck in the Bush!

Went out this morning for a bow hunt before the controlled hunt tomorrow and it didn’t last long! I was running late and made it to the stand by 6:25 and at 6:40am I shot this old wide buck. He doesn’t score great as he has two tines broke off. He is very wide and was well past his ears. He came in ...

Here are a couple of pictures of the deer you speak of. This is her second deer. She has also harvested a turkey. My daughter and this girl were born two days apart and I can't be more proud of the two of them and their accplishments in the field. This is truly a deer of a life time. Her Dad and I m...

Daughters First Deer!

Last night my daughter Morgan(13) harvested her first deer. We went out for the last hour of the eveing and hoped for a chance. The weather was great and the fresh snow was just what we needed. At 5:20 three does came down the corn field towards us. I told Morgan to get ready that we may get a chanc...
