Re: Cocking the Equinox

I just bought a new Equinox with the crank roo last week, after a hundred or so shots I wish I would have bought the Ibex. I just wanted to keep the speed the same as my Tornado and Horton TRT.

I hang 9 hang on's every late summer by myself and I wouldn't even think about doing it without my falls wood climbing harness. It act's as a linemens belt when putting up the stands. When i use a climber I like to use my Lone Wolf, they are very quiet when setting up close to bedding area's.

I trap and snare yotes all the time. 8 to 10 in a pack isn't unusual it's just a family group. You will have 3 family packs within a 1 square male area easy. The singles are male's thrown out of the group. If You trap a Alpha male another will take it's place quite quickly. To reduce the population ...

CONGRATS on a nice buck. Mine's rack would fit inside that one. I thought that IL. was very unfriendly towards crossbows? I let my lease in Pike County drop this year after entering the crossbow era since health problems.

If I can't climb or use a hang on then I resort to my Double Bull Titan 2. I have trouble with mature bucks in the Double Bull though.
