He got away lucky, if the Libs had their way, they would have banned all firearms.......then where would he be. I wonder if it was registered as well?

I had also received an e-mail at work of a few pics of an actual indoor ski hill in Dubai as well.

See what 80 cents a litre gets you!

We broke -40C this morning according to my truck. I took a Mr. Freeze which was thawed, then closed the window on the wrapper and kept it outside. It only took 4 Km's to freeze solid!

From your description sounds more like hogs, with the burrowing and such. I agree, gives me the willies as well. For me mostly, it's the howling at night that drives me nuts.

we have a lot of them here, which seems to coincide with the hare population as well. When I hunt them, I give them to my father in law who is a trapper and we make a few bucks off of them. I agree, they do stink. Might go out this weekend, if this weather warms up, they're calling for a -34C tonight!

I felt that would be the way they'd go as well, but figured I'd keep my mouth shut not to jinx the situation. My next fear will be special permits and licence to prevent people from reloading. I'm guessing a manufacturers' permit with insurance. This will force all to give it up. "Special"...

Would those dogs be springer spaniels? We had two english setters, and now we have a very old golden retriever but I fear his days are limited. He's 11 years now with a cancerous mass on his left side. He's still energetic so we're leaving him be but when the time comes and it hurts him,.... We were...

I can't figure them out either. You read everywhere about scent control, elevation etc... yet a friend of mine in Ottawa, wears denim pants, a blaze orange jacket year round for yard work and hunting, whatever boots are handy and off he goes, and always fills his tags....on occasion he smokes a bit ...

I have the STS on my Equinox and have about 150 shots or so, and I don't see any appreciable wear. I suspect I should get about 400 shots or so through the first set of bumpers. I'll make a note now and keep track from here on in on what their life will be.

When we have guests out at the farm to kill doe's we treat them like royalty. We feed them, guide for them, and retrieve and prepare the fallen animals. They receive the meat all butchered and in shrink wrap packaging. When they leave they are given gift baskets that are all hunting oriented and co...

we were planning to go to Mirage outfitters in 2 years and we were told no crossbows. I don't know the area they're in. Which outfitter did you use? I would prefer to use zone 22 instead if crossbows are permitted. I'd bring my rifle anyways in case things don't look good with the bow.

for best accuracy, turn it horizontally and install a trigger! Just kidding of course,... but when I shot a Matthews compound, I found a ton of practice supercedes any and all toys and accessories. I found I had a "cool" and "flashy" bow, but groups sucked. Shed the weight of som...
