Is there anything that can be done to reduce the Exomax noise? Mine sounds like a 410 shotgun going off.

Thats correct, In most states it is still illegal to hunt with a crossbow during archery season. My state, Alabama just legalized it this year, and the wheelies are still up in arms. I had a problem with mine also, the crankaroo would not fit into the hole.
It seemed that the hole was drilled too far towards the center of the stock
and I had to waller it out towards the outside of the stock to make it fit.
No big problem though.

Just be careful if you bid on a crossbow on Ebay, there is one seller called scooby ? something that will tell you if you email him that the crossbow is as advertised and pictured, so you figure your max bid relative to this and when you receive the crossbow, it is a stripped down version. sempter f...
