distance
I mean no offence either, but I know who the two men are, and stand by my statement. Anyone who routinely takes shots like that endangers the whole thing for all of us. Bolt, I imagine they might very well outshoot me, an awful lot of people can  . I limit myself to perhaps 100 yards. Here in ...

yes, I would
Yes, I will say O'Connor, Ackley, or anyone else who routinely shoots at game at those kind of ranges is unsportsman like, unethical, and lacks sence. There, boltshooter, I gave you the flash you have so obviously been looking for. People who hunt ought to be capable of admitting personal limits. Th...

long shots
I'm really glad folk here didn't/don't play into that longest shot scene. I don't even have a crossbow yet, but I can see things like that being ammo to put down the whole sport.
I think it is high time hunting was seen as a skill sport, not just a matter of killing something, somehow.

hunting
I've written to other state politicians, get reminded they are in other states . Was thinking more like joining, supporting a crossbow organization that represents folks in repressive states. Any such out there? National crossbow/archery outfits?

LOL. Add Wyoming twice. Proud of my state's stance on hunting. Wide open spaces, where PETA is an expletive.

persimmon
Well, wild persimmon is a round, orange red fruit mabe 1 1/2 inches across. Before frost they taste like alum, after a good frost they soften and become somewhat sweet. But they never grow a deceant rack.

poll
Boy does this poll ever leave me out. Here in Wyoming, bucks are seriously over hunted, so I stick to does when possible. And, I have a wife who is one in a billion, no way would I endanger that! However, may I add, my hunting pard ( not my wife) is a six foot blonde, cuter than a bug's ear, and tho...

Here in Wyoming land owners can hunt deer or elk without a licence, on their own land. (need to have a certain acreage I believe). Thing with game is, in origion game belonged to no one, then became the property of "everyone". So, the gumment, which represents "everyone" ( think ...
