I have always used Cabelas Laser Supreme 100grs, in my Exomag. About $20 a pack of 6.
Wouldn't think of using anything else.

camera mount.
I had a camera mounted above my scope for a while.
It works great until you fire the bow.
The vibration shakes the guts in the camera and puts it out of focus.
By the time it refocuses the action is all over.
I took it of as I didn't think it was doing the camera any good.

We went to my daughter & son-in-laws farm for the weekend. I took my Exomag and target to do a bit of shooting. I wanted to practice shooting left handed. Sunday while taking a shot my right hand limb tip came off, so that was the end of that. When we got home Sunday night, I read Saturdays pape...

Tripod
Handy little tripod. I don't think it will work on the bow though if you are trying to take a movie of a shot. I had a mount on top of my scope. When I actually tried it, the vibration of the bow put the camera out of focus. By the time it refocused, the bolt was in the target. Give it a try and let...

Sally
Rick, I am so sorry to hear about Sally. I only just read the post. She sure was a great little hunter, with lots of stamina. It always amazes me how those little springers manage to keep going. I get very emotional when dogs I have had the privilege of hunting with pass on. Your tribute to Sally ha...

Rutman, I am not into all this weighing bolts and all this tech stuff, so I cannot tell you the combined weight. Actually I am a very technical person when it comes to alot of things, including what I do for a living. When it comes to crossbows personally I don't see the need. Anything I have shot o...

Hoss, my wife has had 2 done now. After the first, she was back crosscountry skiing and riding her bike.
She is still getting over the latest one, so she still has a very slight limp.
Good luck, you should do fine.

Rutman, I use Easton xx75 2216.
Bow is an Exomag.
This will be my third season trying with the bow.
Haven't managed to get a shot yet.

Hi Ruttman, I have never had the chance to shoot the Gobbler Guillotine At a turkey yet. I have test fired it though. It was very accurate, I was about 1/2 inch off the mark, low. Only trouble is, when you fire at a solid target, you break the blades. You can fire a bolt with the blades removed thou...

Glad to see you got something out of those pics Rick not bad at all. A little clarification on the "grainy" pics for those that are interested. The condition is not grain as in film photography. It is something that is refered to as noise. It is more apparent at higher ISO and part of the ...
