Re: Our little dog " Spike " has passed ....

Sorry to hear about Spike Rick,he was quite a character. I will always remember one time on Pelee island when you and I were walking along the side of one of the canals. Spike was on the ground and a pheasant came out of the grass along the side and was running. Spike gave chase for a while. The phe...

Looks like you put your pepper spay to good use Vix. I wasn't actually thinking of you ladies fending off 4 legged dogs.
I was thinking more in line of 2 legged dogs.

Re: woooooohooooo!!!!!!!way to go Canada

Glad to see the long gun registry is finally going. Back when it all started I and a young guy from the University of Waterloo Carl Phillips started the Tri Cities Firearms Alliance. I don't know if any of you out there remember that. Myself and Carl went around to different gun clubs and talked abo...

Re: O/T snow blower education needed

Iv'e had a Honda for about 24years. I have been doing most of the neighbours drives as well as my own most of this time. I rebuilt it a couple of years ago and repainted it. Looks like new again. Starts first time, even first time of the season. With the tracks on them, if you keep the auger going y...

Re: Hip Replacement

My wife has had both hips replaced over the last 10yrs.
She has cross country skied, snow shoes, rides a bike, hikes, kneels down when in a canoe, and swims. I can't remember how long before she could drive.
Crossing your legs is a no-no though.
To look at her you wouldn't even know she had it done.

Where are all the shotgunners?

It was a nice morning, so the wife and I decided to go for a drive to see all the shotgun boys having fun this morning. We drove up to the Conestoga lake area (MNU80) and drove all around. Saw a couple of trucks parked but nothing like usual on opening day. Went to one spot where I knew a guy had a ...

Re: home made BH target..........

Made one a couple of years ago of regular styrofoam insulation. Cost $7
Held together with duct tape. BH comes out easy. If they go right through I just take the the BH off and pull the arrow.
