Trail Cam Pics (pic heavy)
These are some of the bucks I've been chasing the last couple of years, unfortunatly most of these pics are from a property I no longer hunt. http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/l560/MG912/th_bucks-bulls-17.jpg http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/l560/MG912/th_bucks-bulls-16.jpg http://i1123.photobu...

I find it tough to draw deer to my feed before snow hits the ground. I live in an area surrounded by farms so the deer are never really starving i guess. I've tried apples, straight corn kernels, and rack stacker but nothing seems to get them hittin it hard. Any suggestions? Whats everybody using th...

Mossberg Shotguns
I'm thinking about buying a mossberg 535 ATS with two barrels for hunting deer and birds. Has anyone had any experience with this gun, any opinions?

Possums?
Sunday night I was driving home from Peterborough and as I pulled into my driveway I spotted something I've never seen in the woods around here, a possum. Anyone else been seeing these guys around this area (southern ontario)?

Coyotes
I figured out why I havent seen any deer lately. Tonite I was just about to leave my stand when I heard something walking through the snow about 60-70 yrds away. Thinking it was a deer I stayed a bit longer. Finally I see two coyotes appear about 30 yards from my stand and I can hear several others ...

Another Big Buck Out of Range
Tonite was the second time this year I've seen a real big buck just out of range. I've got a couple of stands I hunt, and from one stand I saw a huge buck on October 11, he was just out of range about 45 yards so I was forced to pass on him. A few days later coming into this stand I spooked what I t...

Rusty Screws
Anybody got any tips on preventing rust on crossbow screws and other metal parts, some sort of scentless oil or something? I've only had my bow out 4-5 times and I'm already noticing a little bit of rust on certain parts.

Thought I Had My First Crossbow Deer
Saturday morning I went up to Bancroft to hunt my Grandfather's 50 acres. I had seen a couple of deer in a clearing on two separate occasions while patridge hunting, so I setup there about half an hour before sunrise, just stump setting. Never saw a thing and at 8.45AM I decided to head back to camp...

Let me introduce myself...
Thanks guys I've been pretty upset he was a real good deer and although I've been out twice since and havent seen him I think he will be back. I suppose I should introduce myself. I hunt in Bowmanville, southern Ontario and just bought a phoenix with the scope kit, it's great. I've been hunting deer...
