Re: crossbow broad heads
I use crossbow specific when I use Swhackers so it doesn't damage the brass inserts and shafts when opening. Another option is to use a dremel tool and grind a little off the back of the wing blades on original heads but I don't like the thought of weakening them.

Re: Favorite broadheads?

Favorites Ramcat 125 Slick Trick (150 xbow, 125 magnum, 100 std) Magnus 2 blade 150 (here piggy, piggy) Montecs fly great..really consistent, but I cannot get them really sharp and this contributes to less blood IMO. But I put o...

Re: My Pittbull and Lyme
IMO...Wether someone puts any animal down is a very personal decision and dependent on the circumstances, which I am positive I wasn't there to know those circumstances so who can say what the right decision was except the person in the situation. Not to mention he already stated that he would do th...

Re: Venting and asking for input
I can't speak for Don but if I was in his shoes, I wouldn't be interested in creating more work by taking half up front and keeping track of it all. I don't think the juice would justify the squeeze. I'd rather place my order and pay....with a ballpark estimation for delivery. Easy peasy. Pa...

Re: Venting and asking for input
Don I think requiring half up front is more than reasonable. I don't know of any other custom service that anyone can get without at least covering the vendors expenses before work begins. When it comes down to it just make sure you will be happy with the outcome whatever that may be. Do what makes ...

Yeah I have yet to kill one with crossbow myself but have killed three in the last month on my property with guns. I'm ready to start throwing hand grenades.

Re: Best way to remove arrow wraps?
Place the end of the shaft with the wraps in very hot water for 4-5 minutes and they will usually peel right of in one piece.
