Gun registry had a glitch...

A friend of mine just told me that the gun registry has lost about 400,000 names. He is selling a gun and when he called the registry office they could not find him or his buyer in their database. They told him that it was ok to proceed with the transfer anyway. Here is his email: Ref: Gun We called...

Suggestion for web site

For Excalibur web designer... there is no link from within the forums to get back to your homepage. Not really complicated to figure how to get there out but it would be easy to change the icon in the top left to go to your homepage.

Great forums! :D

Cheers,
Mike

Canadian Gun registry - call your MP!

This is not a new idea I know, but we should make sure that the registry is dropped. OFAH has an article in their last rag that recommended that everyone call their Member of Parliament and voice their opinion ( to scrap it, if you want it kept please don't call  ). I just called my MP. I also ...

Anyone here fish in Algonquin Park - Hwy 60 corridor?

I have a family camping trip coming up, going to Canisbay Lake. Does anyone know of good fishing oportunities in the area? I would like to make a couple of day trips... the lake itself has lake trout but they will be to deep, kids would not like it either. I would really like to get into some speckl...

Had to say all that; sorry.

I voted on the web link above - I agree that QC has a better system.

I also disagree with the fishing regulations but those should be changing for 2007.

I quit moose many years ago - along with everyone in the group I hunted with. The moose licences are simply a tax grab. Buy your licence and you are guarantied not to get a tag for how many years? When hunters stopped buying moose licences because they could not get tags the deer licences started go...

The newspaper screwed up w.r.t "automatic". What they should have stated is that restricted weapons will have to be registered (still). The definition for "restricted" is very well defined and is not limited to hand guns and "automatics". Also, handguns classified as an...

I hope that the registry is scrapped soon but this news article doesn't really say anything: The Conservative government plans to gut the gun registry by granting an amnesty to rifle and shotgun owners, CTV News had learned. - this implies that we will be able to add unregistered guns to the registr...
