What we SHOULD do this year! Say THANKS
I'm going to tell a quick story. I met a man about 12 years ago through my job. I work on the Ohio River, and this other man, was a deck hand on a tug boat. Well through doing hard work together, we earned a respect for each other, that only people like us understand. At the time we met, his mother ...

sorry for the confusion, I should have stated that the center serving was also off an eighth of an inch, and I tried to twist one end more, hoping it would center the serving better. It is shooting well enough to kill a deer, ( I can keep all my shots with broadheads in a baseball at 20 yds offhand)...

Tiller is off, what to do?
Well, I posted a couple of weeks ago, when I initially set up the bow. I noticed that the string was not centered, but thought it no big deal, because I could have twisted the string more on one side. Well, after putting a square on the bow, and putting it next to the string, my string walks down hi...

One time about 10 years ago, I took my daughter to a petting zoo, and there was this llama there. He walked up, looked at the wife, looked at the kid, then spit right in the middle of my chest. I gave it one of those silent #@$%$##@# and thought how lucky of a beast he was to be protected by all of ...

I personally, hate to see a dollar figure put on a hunting spot. There used to be a day, not so long ago, where a guys actions spoke for him. If he was willing to help a farmer or land owner put up hay, fix fences, stopped by to clean stalls or feed animals while the farmer took his only 2 day vacat...

Another newbie question......Bolt accuracy
Shot the Exomag more today(off of sand bags and a bench) and found something out. When I shot target archery, I used to shoot and # my arrows. When I would shoot my hunting shafts, I'd do the same, but not be so critical. I'd afffix the broadheads, and shoot, and the broadhead that went to the spot,...

Partikle, Everything appears to be tight. No kidding, almost sounds like a .22 rimfire with shorts being fired. Accurate, fast, just loud. Louder than I expected. I had been checking this site out, and reading what I could, before hand. Not many crossbow hunters in my area. Do not really have a lot ...

Exomax, LOUD,LOUD, LOUD, But FAST, FAST, FAST
New Exomax, is very, very, loud. It is also very, very, fast. Has a great trigger. Are they all that loud? I thought my Father-n-laws Horton was loud, not even close. I do not think a deer could jump it out to 25 yds, but was wondering are the less poundage bows more quiet? Just asking. Also, my hunt...

I just bought an excalibur from scooby off of Ebay. Great deal, great price, no problems, and I had the Brand New bow in 4 days. That's all I can say. I saw some other guy said he bought one and it did not come with the arrows, quiver, scope, mount, rings, and other accessories as shown in the pictur...

Exomax limb question
Got a new Exomax, and I noticed after stringing, that the center part of the center serving was not centered even on each side of the arrow trough. 1 and 1/4 inch on one side, 1 and one half on the other. So I then measured from the inside edge of the arrow trough on the right side to the limb tip, ...

I think more of us realize more than Jim C gives us credit for. I understood what he was saying after the initial post. But what I have seen, is a little upsetting. This scooby guy has a better than 99% seller rating. You don't stay in business long with a 10% seller rating on ebay. Everyone is bash...

bought a new Exomax and a couple of questions
Picked up a brand new Exomax, for $449 U.S. Thought it was a good deal, considering Cabela's wants $549 for the same bow. I was wondering will I be able to shoot 2216's out of it? And for you guy who make your own Bolts, where do you buy the end plugs? Having a hard time even finding them on the web...
