Does that make me the winner of the cyber shake? Sure wish you were bill gates, and was giving a million on this one! But a shake is just fine.

This is a very nice forum to come to. Lot's of good advice, and a lot of folks willing to go out of their way for perfect strangers. I've learned quite a bit here, but to be honest, I'm tired of hearing of the scooby guy. I think it has been brought up a dozen times or more over the past year. Who c...

Good morning and happy new year to all of you early risers. Partikle, we get snow, just not like we used to. I remember the snow coming in Nov. and staying until March. Global warming I guess. Now it snows, stays for two weeks, warms up, melts, makes the yard a mess, snows, melts, etc... Still a nic...

I'm looking at a photo of a doe I shot this year, and she was a monster. I laid my bow down in a similar way. I'd say 170-175 lbs.

Happy New Year

Happy new year, and good night It's only 10:30pm. Too old to stay up any more. Going to bed. I'm sure the new year will make it just fine without me. It sure doesn't take long for them to pass anymore. Butcher

Thanks Wabi, but I'm looking for something in a high power, for a .220 Swift. I can ask a buddy though, I think he may be interested in something like that. He's building a light weight rifle, and does not want big glass on it. I need to know price and such. If you want to pm me with it, instead of ...

Looking for a couple of rifle scopes

I know a lot of you are just bow hunters, but some of you may have a scope laying around. I'm looking for a clean (no ring marks) 6.5-20 or a 6-18 power Leupold ONLY. Matte finish is prefered, but Gloss will do. Just checking. Thanks Butcher

I was re-reading, I do that alot, I should be hunting right now. I am sorry to all of the guys who are on this forum, and like to shoot traditional equipment. I started with an old Bear grizzly, which I still have, I also hunted with a Custom Wapiti TD for 10 years. Some guys, are really great shots...

It would be rot, and turn to dust, buy the time I'd get the grin off of my face! I've been hunting for mr. big for 34 years, and really only messed up on 2 what I would call really nice bucks. It sure ain't a western pa buck, that's for sure. Ah.............maybe someday(slap) wake up. I am having i...

I feel it's a moot thing. If you kill the deer before she is bred, she would not have young to begin with. If your shooting does, and use the meat, early late, no defference in my opinion, except..................if you're hunting a area with a very low deer population, than I agree 100% with huntma...

Jim C, hit it right. PBS, what a crock of crap. I know some PBS members, they all shoot recurves and longbows (which there is nothing wrong with I used to do it before my injury), and if you don't, you might as well not even show up, cause they didn't want to talk to you. Their the closest thing to ...

I'd like to have shot the buck that the other antler belonged to. They are very under estimated toughness wise, because of their looks. How could somethng so beatiful be so darned tough. I have a friend, who is a farmer. 6'3", 240 lbs, and he raises deer. After an attack during the rut while fe...

Buckstopper, The deer and I were both on top of a little rise, and after the shot, the bolt flew down over the hill towards the creek. We have a warm spell, and the snow is spotty. I looked my a$$ off this morning, and no luck. It is still warm, so maybe tomorrow, I go look again. I just want the ar...

Thanks guys, Wabi, our late Muzzleloader season is going on also, I just choose to use the Xbow. It always goes off, and the shots are up close and personal. I do hate the fact, that since I ground hunt about 90% of the time, I just hate loosing the bolts. I looked for four hours today, and with the...
