strange, i remeber seeing on mythbusters that you can't get shot by bullets in a fire, since the heavier round itself will remain in place while the shell is launched.
Still, hilarious, imagine the look on the face of the nurses when she told her the story

Beautiful baby!

But remember the old roman saying:
If you're caught at sea during a storm, pray to the gods, but row for shore anyway, just in case they're not listening.

I haven't done this and I'm not planning to, I was just wondering the reason behind it being a bad idea. Since there were no other posts about it on this forum i thought i'd ask.
Thank you for explanation though.

yes i know, but if you got a clean shot, upclose, would a headshot be better? would the deer drop dead right there on the spot?

Headshots?

Would would happen if you were to shoot a deer in the head? I tried out a few practice shots on a fallow deer skull and came up with this: http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/3091/spa0088ia0.th.jpg I used an equinox with 2216 aluminum arrows at 30 yards range. The chipped part on the lower right is w...

actually, i'm studying medicine and the more i learn, the more i'm convinced no superior being could have made something flawed as a human being. But that's the beauty, you can have your opinion and i can have mine, and we're both right. That's the beauty if freedom of speech. but that is also the r...

What you say is true but you must also consider people of oter beliefs. If for instance you live by the ten commandments, but your nieghbour doesn't that's going to be a problem. Can you imagine a society where all the people live by different laws? But the fact still remains that the great majority...

I took apart the stock and the rail and pushed the stock back into position.
It looks about right now and the rail no longer lifts out of the stock!
I'm going to take a few shots with the bow later to see how it goes but it seems ok again

Thanks for the quick responses and the great help :)

Broken stock?

I recently purchased my first excalibur, an equinox. I've got to say, i love it, but after a few weeks i'm starting to have some problems. I'm not sure if it's just paranoia but thee are tiny cracks and lines all over the face of the limbs. I assumed this were just cracks in the paint and don't have...
