What do you mean "my brace height set high instead of low of more speed"? The brace height will not affect speed, but radical change in brace height could damage your limbs. forgot where i read it, but someone said a lower BH will add fps but be more hard on the limbs by adding to the len...

i was born in ohio and used to snow falls and the winter....i don't think i could ever live where it doesn't snow like florida....nice to visit but i couldn't have christmass without the snow and 90 degrees....my maple trees are dropping there leaves as i type this....sunny and mid 70's are forecast...

a few more questions after a search..............

i searched for a string jig and after 3 pages of nonrelated junk....and reading half of it :roll: ....a few more questions pop in my already stuffed head bout xbow info, HELP LOL....ok now where to start.... brass inserts are made of brass that are the same thing as alum inserts where the tips screw...

the idea is to get something that will let you roll your arrow to see if your BH is straight with your shaft and not out of line....if out of line you will see the point osolating off center....you can't miss even a tiny bit of wobble....i've used two older but straight arrows parall with each other...

i have 4 bearings that i'm gonna mount on 2 pieces of alum angle to 3/4" x 3" x 14" pine board....i heard of someone using 4 marbles glued down on a board too.............bob

thx....i guessed bout 300fps with the 150gr heads, so them numbers sound bout right....where i used to live 30 miles from me now the sporting goods dealer has a chrony and dart system....once i get my setup to where i want it i'll post up the details of what i have and all............bob

380 grains with a 125 grain point, 255 grains without a point....i had to convert from grams to grains cause the scale i have is grams only....my arrows weighed 405 grains with a 150 grain point..........bob

I'm thinking that Crazy Glue was involved somewhere - just the wind alone should have toppled most of those stacks! Pretty amazing to watch. Mountain Man yeah but the stack he balanced on camera i don't think he could have put glue on them....some of those were some ruff rocks that crazy glue would...

mine weigh 380 grains with a 125 tip so that would be 255gr without +/- a few grs................bob
