Re: Helping BooFest

Raccoon is excellent eating, as well is smoked or BBQ'ed beaver hinds. Cooking a whole raccoon in the oven makes mighty fine eating. Smoked, then shredded and mixed with some BBQ sauce makee beaver hinds well worth eating.

Re: Buyers Beware! Warning. o/t...sort of

There are lots of Toxic Knock Off's made in China! Lots are listed on ebay. No doubt that some companies, like Amazon, are getting the fakes and listing them on their webpage.
Bunch of bullshit that this Chinese junk can get into this country

Re: I've been gutting deer the wrong way for years

That is really pathetic! Can't believe any true hunter would even think about using that P.O.S.

Thank You

I would like to thank everyone who was thoughtful enough to sent prayers and offered support . Was a scary couple of day as my DR, the ER room and myself thought heart attack was imminent. I was rushed to a heart specialized hospital 80 miles away. After several Nitro pills and a nitro IV drip the p...

Re: Sizing up a bear

They are to small except the last one. :) Truthfully, the others may be the same one, but still maybe only 125 lbs. The last one looks to be 250 to 275 lbs. I'm no expert, but I do an awful lot of Bearhunting. Big John I whole heartily agree with BigJohn. The last one is a shooter, first thr...

Re: I feel this has to be said

Although I have met very few members of this family in person, I had come to think of so many as family I could never list them all. You all are close to my heart. It is hard to put into words the deep sorrow I feel for Dan's passing. It makes me realize how short our lives can be and how quickly so...

Re: Received Ph. Call about Awshucks

Mike
That was a wonderful gesture on Dan's part It gives you something to cherish and remember the good time you had with him every time you pick it up. Using it to hunt and fill your tags is what Dan would want. You will do him a honor by using it as a tribute to him

Re: arrow case

I've made several arrow cases from PVC pipe. I cut the pipe 24" long , glued cap on one end Took a slide on cap and installed a handle on it so it would go on and off other end of pipe Also put on handle on middle of the main pipe for eay carrying. Got some 1" foam pipe insulation, cut 15" long, to ...
