Re: crank that you can switch sides with the handle
They have a new crank which should be hitting the market soon but I have no idea what it is going to look like yet. Any idea when this crank might hit the market? I'm sort of waiting. It is tough as I want a new bow but am told my present crank will not work (haven't tried it yet on a new bow). The...

Excellent choice  But from my dealings with him I believe he will probably ask you... Whats wrong with the one you have? Yes indeed. That is what I'd expect from Danny. He is a good man. I think he'll like my answer too. I want to get my wife back into shooting. You gonna give her your ...

New crossbow
Greeting I've been away from the forum for a long while but now have a few questions. Mainly I'm looking to upgrade my bow. I've shot an Exo-Mag for quite some time but looking at the more compact bows. I did yesterday sort of look at a few at a bow shop but very undecided. One big question is cocki...

Re: Width of Excalibur bows
I don't think the rail length that determines the draw weight at all but the length can determine the speed if the limbs are the same.Bullzeye wrote:I could be wrong but aside from the new Matrix models I think the limbs are all the same size, its the rail that changes size and determines draw weight.

Re: Width of Excalibur bows
Ya, the new bows have to be sweet! Not sure if one is in the budget or not though. My bow has to be around 20 years old now but still going strong.Cossack wrote:Matrix 6" narrower..woo hoo>

Re: Noise Help - Please !!
I did have that experience one time of one "jumping the string" at approximately 20 yards so it can be done. However, it is going to be rare. I find many folks new to crossbows hate the noise and think it will bother the deer. Well, have you ever hunted with a recurve or longbow? Very quiet things t...

Re: Crankaroo problem
Well it was scary the first time it happened for sure. Didn't take too long to figure it out, especially after trying with the rope cocker and all was well then.

Crankaroo problem
While cocking my bow with the rope cocker, all is well. However, most of the time I have to use the crankaroo. I had a hard time figuring this out at first as I was only using the crank and just before the string got to the trigger a rather loud crack would be heard. It sounded like a limb was crack...

Re: I can hear!
Hi all, Thanks everyone, I appreciate the support, Esp. from the hearing impaired members. I pray all you guys get your hearing fixed soon. I am lucky in that my aids were paid for by WBC because the hearing protection I wore at work at the mine and logging were woefully inefficient. That and fire ...
