Please compare the Micro suppressor with the Assassin.

To bring you up to date, I have used an Exomag for quite some time now but think perhaps it is time to get another bow. A neighbor purchased a micro suppressor last fall and he really likes it. So a few days ago he told me to take it home and try it out, which I did. I did not shoot a lot because it...

Re: Staying warm while hunting (sitting)

Maybe it would be nice to see a manufacturer come out with some type of electric insole for boots used primarily for " Stand" use, and including an external battery as well as reostat to control the amount of heat ? :?: Just a thought.... maybe one of you "designer types" can co...

Re: Staying warm while hunting (sitting)

I have found that wind proof clothing does help a lot but what might be the best underwear? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Icebreaker merino wool socks and underwear are a reasonably priced alternative that work very well. If you don't mind spending more money than get something in de...

I totally agree. Putting them in cold won't do much for you.

Re: Staying warm while hunting (sitting)

Thanks fellas. I have considered one of those bags and have heard good things about them. Perhaps it is time I look at those again. Heat on the kidneys I should have mentioned that I found something that really works fantastically. You can buy Thermacare heat wraps. Caution, the cheap brands are not...

Staying warm while hunting (sitting)

Perhaps because I had polio I've always had a problem staying warm especially when sitting still. But now that I've aged a bit, the cold seems to be bothering me more but I am not ready to give up hunting! Quite naturally, my feet are the worst problem. I've tried electric socks but never the real e...

Re: crank that you can switch sides with the handle

They have a new crank which should be hitting the market soon but I have no idea what it is going to look like yet. Any idea when this crank might hit the market? I'm sort of waiting. It is tough as I want a new bow but am told my present crank will not work (haven't tried it yet on a new bow). The...

Excellent choice  But from my dealings with him I believe he will probably ask you... Whats wrong with the one you have? Yes indeed. That is what I'd expect from Danny. He is a good man. I think he'll like my answer too. I want to get my wife back into shooting. You gonna give her your ...

New crossbow

Greeting I've been away from the forum for a long while but now have a few questions. Mainly I'm looking to upgrade my bow. I've shot an Exo-Mag for quite some time but looking at the more compact bows. I did yesterday sort of look at a few at a bow shop but very undecided. One big question is cocki...

I don't think the rail length that determines the draw weight at all but the length can determine the speed if the limbs are the same.
