Re: OT: Canadain Firearm Buy Back Program

The only thing that that bill will accomplish is taking away guns from law abiding citizens. So now only the criminals have guns. Jeez wiz bang what a great idea.

Re: 2023 Trail Cam Photos

So hard to judge bear weight. That bear to me looks like it goes 250 but come this fall much more. Dandy for sure. :D

Re: Twinstrike illegal in New Hampshire

I'm not against technology but the charm of "primitive" weapons disappears with technological advancements. Muzzleloader season should just become single shot rifle season because today's muzzleloaders have become another type of modern rifle. The old recurves shooting cedar arrows have b...

Re: Twinstrike illegal in New Hampshire

What happened to the muzzleloaders? I don't follow it that closely but today's muzzleloaders are far more accurate than the original ones. Today's muzzleloader and Daniel Boones are not the same gun at all. More accurate = less wounded deer. I see that as a positive not a negative. :) Yes, that is ...

Re: Twinstrike illegal in New Hampshire

I would suspect that more states will realize that primitive archery consists of one arrow and ultimately one shot. Lets keep it primitive. Look what happened to the muzzleloaders. Re: Twinstrike illegal in New Hampshire

I can understand where they are coming from with the regulation, but I'm not sure I agree with it. It's not like you're going to kill a herd of deer because you have a second shot. My ExoMax harvested four deer in one day, two each for two hunters. And they were all harvested just like the they wou...

Nice bear!
You got him in an area not that far from where I am. Too bad we didn't make a connection. I may have been able to put you into some lake trout, walleye or pike fishing. I am not an outfitter or guide, but might have been able to help.
Well, how about that. Small world. :)

Re: Broadhead Annihilator 150 gr XL

looks like a beast. Remains me of the old snuffer broadhead. You can lay that flat on a honing stone and then a barbers strap and you will shave hairs off your arm with it. Nice.

Re: Da Bear!

Going to have a half mount on it. Was going with a shoulder mount till the taxidermist said the chest markings be lost. He suggested a half mount. I think that is the right decision! Those chest markings are unique!! And speaking of unique, so is that wonderful stock you crafted for that bow! https...
