I converted mine along time ago now before db bars. Actually I didn't really convert it I just bought the riser and recurve limbs so I could interchange from compound to recurve as I desired. Now the bow lives as a Maxpoint only because I have a 200lb Exomag and also a Exomax. I even bought a Parado...

They are the first broadheads I bought. They are Puckets elkhead and are not a mechanical. The blades are shot in the back position but puckets would tell you it did not really matter if they were forward. The reason they went forward was mainly so they were not classed as barbed head, but also for ...

One thing I should have said was you may get some good deals in the U.K and its always better to support your local businesses if you can, but sometimes they are just too expensive. I have got too know Dan Miller in the U.S.A quite well and he has given me allot of advise over the years so I guess I...

The horton carbon bolts I have used have moon nocks but they are not glued in they are just a tight fit. So you can get them out real easy with pliers and put yourself some insert in.

Thanks for the well wishes. Just got my stitches out today, still in a little bit of pain but moving quite easy now. I have been told it may take up to a couple of months for the muscle which was cut to repair. Hope to be cocking my crossbows again before that. Had allot of time to weigh some differ...

This sort of thing is some of the baffling things about bolt flight. I would guess f.o.c as well maybe the difference. It would be good if you measured them both and posted the results. Are your vanes or feathers the same and is the offset the same? Steven P.S Barnett customer services don't know zi...

Thanks for the well wishes guys I appreciate it. I am now after 2 days on my feet but still in allot of pain. Friday I made 2 new bolts up to test and decided to try them out on Saturday, put my bow in the car and went to get my new bolts out of the house. I decided to put a 2 blade broadhead on the...

I did not vote because my Exomag, paradox and Exomax all shoot with great accuracy. I suppose it boils down to what you want to use the bow for, if its deer and target I don't think you could beat the Vixen. If I had to choose I would probably go Exomax even though I do have a soft spot for the Para...
