2nd deer down with Exocet
My third hunting trip of the season and bringing home my second deer. Pretty good statistics. With fishing taking over alot more of my time my woods time has been more on the back burner. Still wanting to try and get three deer a season to supply our meat supply for the year I shot this smaller buck...

Re: exocet 200
I have the Exocet 200 also with no complaints at all. I'm using the varizone with no complaints from it either. Also using the Gold Tip laser II's. I was using the Montecs and they fly great, but I swapped over to Rage 2 blade 2 inch cuts to make a bigger hole. And that they do! I'm very pleased wit...

Re: Georgia opening day doe
Thanks everyone! Pulling the trigger is the last easy part about getting a deer. The work definitely begins right after that moment. It was a hot day today and dragging her out today was really taking it out of me. Quartering up is usually a pretty easy task for me and this one was no different. It'...

Georgia opening day doe
I had a deer blowing at me in the dark just as I reached my ground blind. After it just got light enough to see, it appears over my left shoulder less than 10 yards away! Never saw me but eased on off while I'm assuming it was the deer from earlier slipping in out of curiosity. Then at 7:50 I saw mo...

Looks like it has a matching drop tine on the other side too. Just without the ball end. Great unique rack for sure! Good luck with the hunt!

Re: Ground Blinds
I'm another Georgia hunter. Definitely alot of pressure around here. I'm strictly a ground hunter now and usually try and set up a natural blind where I'm hunting. Moving some logs around a good sized tree and then adding some leafy limbs around it to fill in the "blind" a little more. It ...

Re: new deer call camo pattern
I like the new fall leaves pattern better for how the colors contrast with each other. But... The older pattern would match my custom stock pattern a little better Great looking lathe work Wabi!
