Area 19 in close to Geraldton. My group has hunted archery there for the past 6 years. Lots of moose but a lot of hunters. Especially gun hunters. Once they start flying up the roads you will have to get way off the beaten path. Archery there is still good success but no where near as gun. You will ...

Kamiks from CT I've went through 2 pair in the last 20 years, just keep replacing the felt. Would still be on the first pair but I had a tree peg break once and it sliced the boot open. You can't go wrong with these boots and unlike other cheapies the sole is not bright but dark so great for in hte ...

WE tried to do some shed hunting but the main bedding areas are back in the bush and the snow is way to deep for the young lads.

Deer pics

My sons wanted to go for a ride the other night to see if we could see some deer. WE ended up seeing one coyote and 29 deer, 23 in one field, and no it's not a farm..lol I would have liked to use the tripod on these deer as light was fading fast. I slowed down the shutter and pushed the ISO setting ...

I would recommend you try the broadheads that come with the xbow first. I have had very good luck and accuracy with the Wasps. Never had to track farther than 70 yards, great blood trail no problems.

AS stated an slr can either be hard or as easy as you like. You will find however with any slr it's still a mirror that's movinig so when you hit the shutter release the picture is taken, no waiting around for the shutter to open and close. You will also find you will have way more ability to edit y...

I have had some very informorative talks with C/O's over the years. If you are polite and ask the right question they are generally a wealth of info. A lot of people seem to forget they do their job as a love for the outdoors. Most are huunters and are there to protect the animals from poachers not ...

An SLR is not for everyone but if you want full control over the shot then this is the way to go. Cannon offers a wide range of lenses at different price points. I myself used 35slr for years then went to a point n shot digital. I couldn't stand the damn thing. Yeah it was great to compose the pictu...

Yeah last year we got a moose. My buddy shot it at 4 yards with a tenpoint. It was the rush of his life. I have bought cut on contact broadheads I plan on using them for both moose and deer. All my deer stands have shooting lanes out to 30 yards only and very few spots that go over that. I limit mys...

This is a 60# bow turned down to 52#. I will have it up to 60 by the time moose season gets here. Right now with my arrow wieght and speed I have 45.38lbs of K/E which they say is more than enough for deer. I'm told at the shop by the time I'm doen the bow will be shooting them at 260-270fps which w...

Man what a feeling to finally be able to shoot my bow. This thing was a treat to shoot and so smooth and quiet. Can't even hear the bow just arrow hitting target. Here a some of the details. Mossy Oak breakup camo, 29" draw, set at 52#, using Terminator lite Hunters with balzer vanes 6075 come ...
