Hey Jim,
I'm just thinking that if we had it all under one roof (category) those of us who were interested could find it easier and go back to old posts when needed. I'd certainly use it. I'm always looking to improve my accuracy and skill.

Jim, This topic is not hunting related. I'm not saying I don't want to read it, I'm legitimately interested in it and I'm sure others are too. My problem is that I know squat about the target shooting and 3-D end of things. I'm wondering if we can't (and by we, I mean you and other knowledgeable tar...

Coyotes are following the expanded deer herds. It's happening everywhere. That and the fact that fewer of us are killing and trapping them and their prey is doing them a world of good. They've also learned how to take our house cats and live in our subdivisions... at least up in these parts. They're...

Gobblers will sound off. Yes, they and owls are enemies. Owls are capable of taking young turkeys off of the roost. Crow calls also work to get them vocal. I've killed turkey with a shotgun but never a crossbow. I will try that this spring too. I'm interested in discussing point of aim with an arrow...

Your own experience in the field and on the practice range will do the rest. Welcome, and remember, deer season is not th...

John, You should get him a copy of the Traditional Bowyers Bible volume 1. It has everything you need to know to build a wooden bow. you break a few staves at first but once you get the hang of it you can build neat bows. I made a 57 pound osage flatbow that shoots like a dream as well as a few othe...

Tye, I have rifle hunted for deer in Saskatchewan. It is awesome. You owe it to yourself. Don't know about crossbow or archery rules there but if it is doable, one day I'll go back. Saw 70 shootable deer in a week and finished with a bruiser ten-pointer -- 275 pounds. That wasn't even the biggest bo...
