Re: Any Info On Excalibur Assassin Crossbow ???
You hope it locks at full draw! It may be a $1,599 dollar finger amputating machine, just like the Ravin.lol Buddy of mine sent me a photo of a friend of his that lost his thumb with a Ravin loading it. He knew I had 1 I hurt my hand pretty badly with my Ravin decocking it. Didn't lose any fingers,...

Leupold VXR scopes are illuminated.
My Hawke was new this year. I don't know what it is worth, but I will sell it to you. I'm tagged out on bucks and done for the season.

Re: questions about a new scope
For those who have posted here who are unhappy with their XB 30's and would prefer a Leupold Crossbones I have a very nice one I'll trade you for that "crappy old Hawke XB30 PRO." I live very close to the Leupold plant in Beaverton Ore . I have 2 Leupold spotting scopes, a set of G...

Re: questions about a new scope
I have an XB30pro on one of my set ups. Everything else I own has leupold crossbones on them . To be brutally honest the hawke scope leaves a lot to be desired in a high priced scope. Optics quality is like looking through a fishbowl with crosshairs. The reticle is way too busy with more hash marks...

Re: Looking to update my scope
I recently bought the Hawke XB30 Pro, and I'm not liking it as much as I thought would. Cluttered reticle is beyond annoying and it is the hardest scope I have ever seen to get behind. It's almost impossible for my to get a full picture in it without moving my head all around. I tried the Hawke ring...

Re: reflex sight
If you like a reflex sight in the last minutes of shooting hours, over a scope. More power to ya.
I've used both and there is no comparison. Give me a Leupold VXR 2-7

I am currently hunting with an Ibex crossbow. It has served itself very well, but I'm selling it to buy a Micro very soon.
