Northern Ontario Archery Bull Down
Heya...I took this bull down at 21yards after coming into the call. Got it aged at 5ish years old and was estimated at 1200 lbs with a 49 1/2" rack. I used my compound bow in this instance, but have no doubt I could have whacked him with my Exomax :-) http://www.flickr.com/photos/xcaddis/100304...

Re: Check this: 380 poor quality issue???
This is ridiculous to me. It is a surface coating issue. Fine, if you don't like the blemish, ping the folks at excal and I am sure they will replace the limbs. Its really a non-issue. It will be a cold day in hell before I buy a piece of crap knockoff...Middleton...Maximus...I will put them into th...

Re: Is this really fair?????? Not to me.
I hope the MNR laid charges on those interfering with your guys hunt. :D so it was an eventful weekend in st Catherine, sat morning was quite the dog and pony show, was good to see protestors out, had park hikers, animal rights hunters and plain old bigots out with their signs having their say. they...

Re: Is this really fair?????? Not to me.
Good luck to you Bearclan. I have no issues with the native people being allowed to hunt deer here. I grew up hunting, fishing, and trapping my entire life and understand a lot of the heritage. What I do have a problem with is policy makers limiting Ontarians from hunting and fishing various areas i...

Re: Excalibur Matrix
Perhaps...I would have liked to see a new product introduction campaign to align with Christmas and product release to take advantage of the Christmas shopping period...However that's me. You also need to have the product ready for that time. I don't know that we are the target market for Excaibur's...

Re: Refletching with Blazer Vanes - measurements
Thanks woodspike, I will give it a whirl. Thought there might be other configurations which people were trying that were potentially more effective. If using an Arizona EZ-Fletch Bolt, it will put the vanes exactly where they need to be. No measurements needed. If using other methods, I'd say anywhe...

Refletching with Blazer Vanes - measurements
Hey Gang,
I haven't done any refletching as of yet, but I think I will jump on the wagon. My question is where are people putting the vanes? Should they go back as far as possible? Is there any specific science people are using or measurements?
Thnks,
Xcaddis

Re: Excalibur Crossbows in 2013
A 275-300 lb. draw...maybe slightly longer limbs to support the speed increase. Probably would also need to redesign the trigger or release as this would put additional strain on the serving. Perhaps a string with a serving loop like a compound bow that could be easily replaced....hmmm...I should go...
