Re: Just Bought.....Squirrel Skinner

We used to make some similar to that back in the day with slots to hold the back legs. Cool design! Thanks for sharing!!!

Re: Huntin/Hot

Been getting almost identical reports from all my hunting buds here too. Weather like that puts em in the thick stuff and they'll lay up. It'll get better soon and hopefully we'll also have some cooler weather without the rain..

Re: re:new trigger question

I would think the liability issues could be resolved by simply writing a disclaimer stating what they are, the purpose they are intended for, the fact that all mechanical parts can and do eventually fail, and a "use at your own risk." I still want one when the season is over.....

Re: To Wrap or Not To Wrap??? That is the question..

Thank you all for the sage advice! I believe I'll start without wraps and see how it goes. I only shoot lighted nocks when hunting so recovery is easier...

Re: Huntin/Hot

Here in South Texas, we have 4 seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and Christmas! Don't know what all the fuss is about because it's a rare thing here to hunt when it's cold enough to hang a deer. We have to get em on ice and fast!! Flightattendant knows what I'm talking about even if he i...

Because they look so cool; watching them through your scope and yes, much easier to find afterwards...

To Wrap or Not To Wrap??? That is the question..

My apologies for the Shakespear, but another newbie question here.. I have my Arizona EZ fletcher, I have my 2" Bohning Blazer Vanes, my Bohning shaft cleaner, and enough different vane glues to keep me busy forever, but I was watching some fletching videos and noticed someone rolling adhesive ...

Re: Slick Tricks

While I don't yet have any experience with Slick Tricks, I've read enough to convince me to buy some and try em out... My stock firebolts are shooting very consistantly with 150 gr Boltcutters and I'm not planning on making any changes until after hunting season, unless I'm forced to do so. I've got...

Re: I need new arrows - GT II complaint and Firebolt questio

Not sure what your problem is but I would suggest shooting each arrow 3 times; using a different vane in the groove to see which vane is the most accurate and then mark it with a permanent marker. I haven't had any problems so far with my firebolts and am shooting bullseyes at 10, 20, and 30 yds wit...

Re: Front / Center Balance:

Gold Tip Laser II's arrived yesterday with brass inserts installed, 2" Blaser vanes, Firenocks, etc. Now I'm really torn about whether to shoot them some and hunt with them this year, or stay with the Excalibur Firebolts. I must admit that the Firebolts are amazingly accurate and I just don't k...
