Redheart looks the best but ebony is much denser and could likely improve the call characteristics. I choose ebony.

I wouldn't take the shot either. I've found that patience usually pays off and quite often that Buck will stop and turn a bit or even turn completely around a come right back by you if you wait. If you have a particular spot in mind that you're hunting, and are in a place where that is the only shot...

Good to know!!! Even before my crossbow is ordered I ordered the S5 suppression system, 150 gr Boltcutter broadheads, and a stringing aid. Would've already ordered the crossbow but my wife wants to do it for my birthday so i don't know if it's ordered yet or not but I'll be ready!!!
