Re: Loctite scope screws question

I would think it would be more likely on a four screw ring, less positive on a 2 screw ring,,,,, but on any change at all, I would certainly shoot it to confirm my change before I could rely on it! Yes that will work fine, but you still need to put a few bolts thru her to make sure she is still zer...

Re: New To Crossbow Hunting.

Didn't want to give my compound bow up, but after 3 rotator cuff surgeries on the same shoulder, couldn't do it anymore. Transitioned to my Axiom, and have never looked back or missed my compound bow. I just wished I would have started shooting a crossbow long before now. Welcome to the fold, practi...

Re: New Equinox

Thanks everyone yeah I'm looking at the Excalibur vari zone scope. What broadheads would you guys recommend? Used rage 125 Xbow but not happy with them. I use the Excalibur Bolt fixed broadheads, 125gr. They are rugged, have killed every deer I have ever shot at, and p.o.i. Is almost identical from...

Re: Santa may be bringing me a Micro...have a question

I hang a plumb Bob off my stand I hang my target on at 20 yards from the bench I have my crossbow on. Then off a bench, I level my crossbow by setting a 2 fI level across the rails. I then rotate the scope, while keeping the crossbow level by the level across the rails, until the vertical reticle li...

I bought mine at Bass Pro, before I knew of Danny Miller. You can order one from Danny if you can wait 3 or 4 days to get it to you.

Re: Did Excalibur sell out to ten point

Sounds like the information I was told was basically correct. I have dealt with Excalibur recently had had zero issues with their customer service or them standing behind their bows. Hopefully that won't change, that has always, to me, been the shining light of Excalibur, their excellent customer se...

Re: Did Excalibur sell out to ten point

bowtech ? He told me ten point, he said the same who bought out Horton, I'm just asking if what he told me has any truth to it. His facts are a little cloudy. Horton was originally a British company. Rick Bednar began as a distributor of Horton in the US in the early 1980's. In 1985 he convinced th...

Did Excalibur sell out to ten point

I was told today by a owner of a archery shop, that Excalibur has sold out to ten point. This is new to me if it in fact true. Is he right on Excalibur being sold or is he mistaken?

Re: Which Excal model has taken the most deer?

I have had MY PEOPLE, research this from a secured, safe, undisclosed location..... Their findings...... from hours of painstaking research.... the AXIOM. Even though it isn't that old, has led to the demise of more white tailed deer than any other recurve crossbow in recorded history. Which COINCID...

Re: New Scope Questions

I have an Axiom with the scope that came on it. We have it sighted in and it works but it is bottomed out as far as adjustments. Also, its not real clear and sharp like my Leupold rifle scopes. I want a new crossbow scope for Christmas but we do not have a lot of money. I looked up the Nikon Bolt X...

Jeff, it hard not to miss a big buck like that..... Its much harder to shoot the little ones, requires much more skill..... you know, smaller target and all......
