leaving Fri. am for annual bear hunt at Elk Lake.15 yr in a row.6 hunters at camp so there should be lots of action,and hopefully not to many long trackings.Onmedic and wild willie [both post occasionaly here].

nothing for unit 49,for group of 10 hunters,2 yrs in a row.but we have been successful 7 of 11yrs.one year we got 2 bulls and 1 cow.we always applied as indiduals.this year as a group.hard to get tags in 49.

can someone explain the logic behind this in unit 92 where I bow hunt there are 1400 antlerless additional tags availible but only one per hunter. does this mean there are 1400 bow hunters in the unit?Yikes its getting too crowded.NO tags availible for Manitoulin.

have an opportunity to go to sask. to hunt geese this fall anybody on the forum hunted there ?it would be great just to see the country and its critters-mule deer,elk.antelope etc.any comment?
