Tip for ADF

Have been installing the ADF on my Excaliburs, and testing them. They work perfectly, but one after a couple dry fires, I noticed that the serveing was cut. I have had this problem with a TenPoint, due to a bur or sharp edge on the prong. It is a good idea to polish the prong or check it out. Polishe...

when you reposition the retainer ,which you have to do using the ADF, you move it forward a good inch. You must center and tighten screws real good.

Re: Two Questions

How many Excals have you heard of "blowing up" w/ a dryfire? . Not a one! Why does Excalicur have to replace so many limbs due to dry fire. Heard that the only recurve you could dry fire without damage was a Middleton. If a bow breaks apart and dissapators plates bend, I guess I should ha...

Shrink wrap

Does shrink wrap over an arrow retainer slow the speed? It would seen the plastic would cause more friction then polished metal, especially pushing down on it.

Re: Anti dry fire update

People from Quebec shouldn't be refered as "Frogs". That's inaccurate and offensive for us, the real froggies from France. OK yankee ? =) Sorry. I understand that the devise is made in France. They were French when they priced half way decent, when they priced way out of sight they are Fr...

Re: new axiom (shock)

Any petro-chemical (plastic) will dry out and harden with age. I'm sure it will last longer than I will, but no one can say for sure how straight the rail will be, or if the riser will hold up, say 10 years from now. I do know that my Alum. will not change.

Crossbow Bi-pod

Anyone know were I can find info and prices on a bi-pod for an Excalibur. Saw a pic of one used in a shoot out in Europe. Seems like a good idea.

Ace Hardware would give you best selection. Home Depot would be cheaper.

75 dollars. This includes postage. Comes packaged well. Bubble wrap in a strong box.
