Brush it in well. I used camo netting on top to keep shine down. and I put brush in that to. Not really necessary, but I liked it. Plenty of info. from members on here. I have a light weight gorilla hang-on that I have left all season long and took it down in the spring. There were no problems with it. Safety could be a issue as the manual says.
