Re: My 380 is a 380!
Dan, I had a similar issue with my more swept back gen ll 335 Micro when it was first released..... I spoke with Mike who is the guy in the back at Excalibur who actually performs alot of the CS work. He encouraged me to send it back and he would "Find" me a set of limbs that shot advertis...

Re: Micro 335 warranty repair wrong ?
I also would question that modification if they made the riser modification while leaving the rail length it's previous length... The newer gen ll bows have a 1/2" longer rail and power stroke to insure performance is still at 335 levels with there more swept back limb angles ( to reduce limb s...

Great Choice !
IMO, every X-bow collection ( be it 1 bow or many ) could do with a 380 Matrix.

Re: Money Spent!!
I currently own 3 pretty ( what I would consider ) expensive Excal. models, especially after up-grading to what I consider to be "Better Scopes". Previously, I had other somewhat lower priced Excal models, and up-graded as $ allowed. :D I will say however, that IMO, you don't have t...

That would be my choice when paired up with one of my Micro's.

Re: Excalibur Micro 355 opinions
At present I have a gen ll 335 Micro which I'm very happy with. I DID recently let go of my " SPARE " Micro 355 to free up some $ for a new Springfield Armory AR15 I have been droolin' all over. That being said, the 355 Micro I sold was a " back-up " to the Micro 355 I hunt...

Re: Sought after past models
Personally, I regret selling my now discontinued Matrix 350 SE awhile back... Depending on my health issues and the results I get from an up-comming CT I hope to soon be shopping around for another to replace it.

Re: Matrix 380 $849 right now
I recently picked up a camo Micro 355 ( as a back up ) with a Tactzone and the "light package" , but also with a Cabelas " up-grade package " including a C2 crank, air brakes, what they refer to as brake pads... these are the adhesive wedge shape ones you locate between back of t...

Re: Good BH Target
I use my 18-1 at both 20 and 30 yards but change to a fairly new and very solid 3d Javlina target at 40 yars and a farily shot out ( but I did turn the kill-zone around kill zone around this fall ) full size 3d "full rut" whitetail buck at 50 and beyond... I remove all graphics on my shaft...

Re: How fast are our arrows actually traveling at 100 yards ?
Thank''s SEW and others who gave advise or coments... I must say that the measured speed loss was much lower than I expected. :D However, I admit that I was extremely surprised to see that an arrow still traveling in excess of 300 fps when shot from a bow in the 380 or higher speed catagory ( at rel...

How fast are our arrows actually traveling at 100 yards ?
I know our bows are rated at certain speeds as "Feet Per Second" at aproximately 5 feet thru a chrony with a certain weight "test arrow". If those speeds were a close referance (?) our arrows could be covering 100 yards in less than a second in many cases. ( Bows rated over 300 f...

Re: How much cutting diameter makes a differnce?
This is an informative post and i'm liking it as far as deer size animals with deer size bones go. :D If asking about fixed vrs. mechanical on animals such as adult elk or almost any size moose where the bones size and strength incountered by those heads could be a factor as to penetration and possi...
