My advice. Pick a bow shoot it have fun with the basics first.
You probably already know the noise from you jacket will scare off the deer before you get a shoot in, forget about the noise from the bow.

LOL. congrats.
I was sitting in the bottom of a field once, called it quits early. Walking out on the tree line, stoped tp take a leak .While I was a doe steps out not even 20 yards. LOL.

reasonably priced = aluminum. Make then yourself even better. Out of my 175# they shoot fantasic. I hunt and target shoot with them. Currently 2216 with 125g broard heads. Play around you mey find something different. In the past I shot: Gold Tips II. Beamens Thunder Bolts. Easton 2219 Easton 2219, ...

I did shoot 2219 also. did not see a geat advantage. either way.

I use 1/2" eye bolts x 8". Just cut a bit of the loop out with a hack saw.
Those sucker are loud. I just about did the same the frist time.

I started that this year also. Last time I was in my tree stand, was lazy and droped my pack instead of lowering, Well needed new glow sticks after that.
Forgot about my flash lighalso, but it made it.
