Nice work!
But man, archery season just opened here in our 1-buck state, and there you are with rifle season already going and 2 bucks tagged already.

Re: Scope
What you're observing is parallax. My Tact 100 has bad parallax at any distance. Gotta really keep eye alignment perfect to be able to shoot consistently with it. My Hawke and Vortex scopes have much more forgiving parallax.

Freezer Queen and a lesson learned
My wife and I, and my parents, and the brother I hunt the most with all ran out of venison earlier than planned a few months ago. So we had it set that we were going to put a doe in the freezer the first chance we had this fall. Season opened yesterday in MN, and we got out for the first sit in the ...

Re: Excalibur Beacon Illuminated Nock
When setting up my bro's arrows for the Strykro, I went with the Beacons. After handling them enough, and now shooting with them plenty, I now know they are what I'll be buying the next time. Biggest reason I'm transitioning to them is the aluminum bushing is a lot better long term for the back of t...

Re: Vixenmaster-is Mike still around?
Mike goes by Blacktail there. Not bent limb.
Posts strings there every now and then: https://www.crossbownation.com/threads/micro-string-8190.135694/#post-1727646
I literally had a conversation with Mike 2 days ago. Reach out to him, if you need his number let me know and I can get it.

Pretty sure he moved recently. My most recent communication with him was messaging on crossbownation.

Re: Hunting camera
Tactacam does have a mount to fit a one-inch diameter scope tube, don't they? I don't know if I would use their under the barrel mount option on my rifles unless ya'll show me the error of my ways. I use a one-piece scope mount, so I don't have rails on my rifles. I know they have a mount that will...

Re: Restringing aid slipping.
Thanks all. TBH I didn’t know one needed to tie a knot in the stringing aid after taking the slack out while on the bow. I have been relying on the tension created by the stringing aid being woven into the 3 holes in the end pieces. Where can I order a 4 hole stringing aid? You're not supposed to n...

Re: Are you ready?
Now I'm ready. Got the Wolverine dialed in with field tips. Screwed on a new ToTA standard vented 100gr and sent the first broadhead downrange at a 1/2" dot at 20 yards. I guess they really do shoot like field tips. https://onedrive.live.com/embed?resid=DE60831E6602D779%2180861&authk...

Re: Hunting camera
I agree that the Tactacam cameras are pretty good for what they do. They make some higher cost options with higher resolution and frame rate, but the cheapest version they make is good deal. Below are videos taken with a Tactacam Solo Hunter attached to an Excalibur. https://youtu.be/iDmYHWCSeK0?si...

Re: Hunting camera
Here's 3 deer killed by my brother using Tactacam Solo Xtreme on his Micro 355. Gets pretty good quality for a $150 camera.

Re: Restringing aid slipping.
I thought some might be interested to see the various designs. https://i.postimg.cc/KvnC128H/IMG-8702.jpg I’m betting that something can be done to make the OE stringing aid work better (other than a temporary knot). I don’t own one but I’ll check it out when I get my hands on one. I have a standar...
