I hunt bedding areas exclusively, as that is what has worked for me for years. As said earlier..you must be willing to be in EARLY and aonly attempt these stands on days where you can stalk into your stand downwind and silent. This is a risky strategy, and if you get busted(even if you don't know it...

I have read many articles on this and almost all of them state the optimum temp is 33 degrees F. Anything more, proportionately increases bacteria growth and risks spoiling, anything less inhibits bacteria growth and accomplishes nothing. Another thing to be concious, about is humidity..too dry of a...

Hate to rain on anybody's parade, but the speed thing isn't going to overcome the deer's reaction. Sound travels twice the speed of the fastest arrow out of the fastest rig. A deer can react and jump or hunch over 3 feet in less than a tenth of a second. So what this means from all the articles I ha...

Been using T-heads for years. The trick with them is ensure you install the rubber orings and make sure they all spin dead true once screwed into the shaft. For any fixed blade to fly consistent it, the arrow when assembled must spin true, this will ensure they group consistently. Now, when using fi...

Hard to beat Thunderheads, they spin true and fly as good. Spitfire's are also a killer broadhead andI have yet to find another broadhead period that flys BETTER, equal yes, but Better is simply not possible. The real choice you have is what weight head you will use. There is benefit in shooting a 1...

If you don't mind the speed loss, you can go with Dacron string and use 2219's with significant results. I used to insert a 1/2 inch plug of rubberized quiver foam into my arrows as I assembled them to not only gain some FOC but also deaden the sound. This would only be possible if you build your ow...

Another product which has worked for me for years and adds fps. http://precisionreloading.com/superlube.htm You can get this stuff at Lowes and other places. Be careful that the one you want says DRI-FILM I have used it on my Bows and crossbow rails for years. It leaves a coat of teflon and nothing ...
