ARKIE/OKIE 3-D SHOOTS

I'm looking for interest from western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma guys/gals to start a 3-D club. I'm willing to donate the use of my property for the course, which would be open to all forms of archery. Please pm me for details. I'm near Mena.

I tore up a Block target in no time w/ Emax. I've got a pair of McKenzies now that are the best I've found so far. They are bright orange and in Cabelas cat. They have cables on the corners that you can tighten up when you get it shot loose, you can tighten it twice, via preformed notches and barrel...

3-D Results

Got there an hour early w/ friend Bob, shooting a compound. Met sponser, showed him my two Excals, left him the Emax, rope cocker, arrows, basic instructions in case some one wanted to try a xbow while we were on the course. He took a couple of shots, was both totally impressed and all set. This was...

quivers

I have both the Excal and Dan Miller, prefer his as arrows are never in the way. His quiver has two rubber grips for shafts, which I see Excal has gone to now. His bracket will take Excal quiver.

1st 3-D shoot; any tips??

I finally found a 3-D shoot here in Arkansas, 5 hr. round trip for about 30 shots. I'm the first that wants to use xbow, the rest are verts, but said I was welcome. Shots are from 5 to 35 yds. 16 targets, you shoot once at each then go thru again. Costs $10. I've been shooting like crazy. Sure would...

I read alot on several xbow sites, and there's a few things I've noticed I'd like to point out. First, the real "bashers" are going to take their feelings to the grave. They would not change their opinions for anything. Secondly, there are a whole bunch of verticle shooters that don't care...

Yep, Yep, Yep, like most other idiots, I got the Cabelas archery cataloge, looked for the fastest, hottest, besttest, ect ect ect. Heck, should be like varmit rifles [lots of expertise] The Chinese have a saying, "Be careful what you ask for, you might get it" LOL Well I got it! That Emax ...

LeGrand: I truly admire Canada. If it wasn't so durn cold up there, I'd move if ya'll would have me. I was always proud to be an American, but sometimes this country makes me wanna move. The one major thing both countries have in common is the politics suck!! Viva la Canada!!

Sidekick: They sent theirs to Lousiana in the early 1700's, far enough south for them, but won't work for us. LOL

Mr. Editor: IMHO, you've said some wrong things in the wrong place, and that' a fact you will NOT bank on. BTW: folks here have long memories.

New Phoenix

Just got mine yesterday. Got it put together and put a Varizone on it. What a sweet shooter!! I thought my Exmax was just great, even if a brute, but this is like a whole new world. I got bored poking the centers at 20, so I started shooting at flys that were landing on the target!! No hits but clos...
