Woody, what do you mean by "is the 405 fps like Middletons 375 fps.?" Have you had a chance to see or shoot one of those xbows,I take it that it didn't live up to it's hype?

Re: Bowtech Crossbow

[quote="Farmer"]It sounds like Bowtech is entering the crossbow market. They are saying 405 fps 155 footpounds/KE    . Parallel limbs, Binary cam, and whispertech silence. Farmer, where did you get the info on this bow,the web page is just a pic. with no details really....

Exactly, any small mistake or not perfectly zeroed at 20 yards may not even be noticable, but the further out you shoot the more it will off center. 30 yards will give the arrow enough distance to show if you are off slightly or not.

I know Tenpoint recomends sighting in their 3 dot sights and 3 line scopes at 30 yds using the center line. The reason for that is due to the problem you have. 20 yds may not show a problem,30 yds a bit to the right and 40 yds,you are out a foot or more. I did sight my scope in that way and i...

Greywolf, I know you are pointing out the diff. in grains, but I am just going to mention that 11/32,22/64, and .348" diam. are all the same o.d. shaft. It seems logical the heavier arrows would be better suited for heavier draw weights, but if different material, who knows :?:

That is a huge amount of tags! Even one deer a day would be a substantial amount over that time period. Do you know what the deer density per sq. mile is where you live, bstout? Must be a huge deer pop.

I don't see any names at all credited to the pictures,(personal, outfitter or otherwise),just nice pictures of big bucks I would like to have bagged. Pretty hard to get advertising from them that way!

I don't believe there is a hard case, but some guys break their bow down and use a double gun case. Here is one thread about it but if you do a search there is no doubt more! http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/phpBB2 ... =hard+case

I have seen this same story and list of bows on ebay a couple of times a fair while ago,(a year?). The listing was pulled by ebay and then relisted a couple different times. Maybe because it was not in a proper auction format? It may be prudent to check it out well and not send money w/o product in ...

Here is a link to a video showing how to crest a arrow with paint rather than wraps. Full credit to Woody Williams for it,he posted it on a previous thread. http://www.texastrackers.com/Videos/Arrows.wmv
Should be much cheaper than buying wraps!
