True, shooting at paper is different than shooting at fur or feathers, but, then again, the point of practice is to make shooting in the field second nature. Otherwise why do it at all? He has a point...The most important part of shooting offhand is to hold steady...if only for the trigger pull. I was taught in the military to breath and then settle in on the target. It worked. Still does.

Sounds interesting. I made a hip quiver based on a short length of 3-inch PVC sewer pipe. The basic idea is sound but I need to refine it a whole lot. It got me through the remainder of our deer season though.
