The V2 has no db bars as we sell it. This is to reduce price, reduce forward weight, and a result of the fact that the bow is already quite quiet as is. BTW the actual LOP on the thumbhole stocks is very similar to the standard stock, but it appears shorter because the trigger area is reduced by mov...

The V2 is 1 inch shorter LOP than the other bows.

I just GOTTA comment on this thread! I am more than aware that everybody is entitled to their own opinion and I'll fight for someones right to disagree with me if I have to. That said, I have a real problem with people saying that our minimum arrow weight recommendations are unrealistic or even dang...

Don't fret about the NRA and the "gun" issue. The NRA are extremely pro hunting and as a result are also pro crossbow! They have been very helpful in getting the new seasons in the USA for crossbows because they have been coming out on our side on the issue. You will see a "Join the N...

Limb savers will reduce the noise a bit, but they also reduce velocity up to around 20 FPS. You'll NEVER make that crossbow quiet enough that a deer won't hear it, but you MIGHT make it slow enough that a deer can jump it. Leave the gizmos off your limbs and string and just have fun. Just my opinion...

The problem with the crankaroo and the cheekpiece is my fault. I was so wound up in the design end of the cheekpiece issue that I completely missed the fact that it interfered with the crankaroo! We are working to fix this by redesigning the crank body, and should have shorter crankaroos within a mo...

I am going with an outfitter named Mike Heath of Wildcat Safaris. Strangely enough, Mike has experience with crossbows and big game, he took Bernard Horton out on basically the same deal about 15 years ago. Hopefully I do as well as Bernard did! He took all 3.

I'll answer that one. After the elephant hunt I got to thinking about what would be next on my to-do list. Blue whale? Nope, no tags available. Polar bear? Nope, I hate the cold. How bout lion? That would work! I've been saving my Loonies since then and the great adventure begins on August 30th. I'm...

It could be as simple as brace height or you might have some sort of silencers hanging on your string or limbs to reduce your bows velocity. My guess if everything else is the same would be that the bows are from opposite ends of our poundage tolerance and that your dads bow is probably a few pounds...

I personally use and like Nokia boots for hunting in Ontario, and I suppose that I'll be staying with them until I find a better option. Too bad the Muck boot thing didn't work out, cause they are pretty expensive!

I bought a pair when they first came out and was happy with the concept, but the neoprene tops were torn to shreds by brush when I went in the bush with them, and the inside back where my heel rubbed them wore off after a bit. I tried another pair when they wore out, expecting that these things woul...

If your crossbow has a stock that comes from our new molds the cheekpiece will fit perfectly, however it takes a bit of grunt to "snap" it into place due to a little too tight tolerance on the tooling. Yes, it is "just a piece of plastic", but a very expensive one due to the cons...

Mike, you might consider spending some of your childrens inheritance and buying a thumbhole stocked bow for yourself as an option. Just my opinion though.....

This forum isn't about whether crossbows are good or bad. If you don't believe they are good my advice is please leave us alone and go visit another site where you are welcome. Having anti-crossbow people lurking in my site is like having some sort of parasite infection, and if the parasites don't f...
