oil/water dip, ink floats on top and part is submerged through the ink, the ink adhears to the surface, very durable overcoat of clear, not a sticker.

The finish is the same one that is used on rifle stocks and what not. there is a hard clear that isnt shinny sprayed on to seal the ink. Acually there are several different patterns that are available. The one in the photos isnt a complete match on the color fusion but its darn close. Its hard to se...

Take it to the odnr, they might take a sample off the antler and have it checked . We have a tar pit/sink hole near the piqua/sidney ohio area that yeilds all kinds of bone like this.

That is an elk shed. I work with antlers making knives and have had people bring them to me in the same condition and found under the same described conditions as the ones pictured.
