Bolt length
What is the shortest bolt you can use in an Excalibur?Changing my ends to different wieghted brass inserts has shortened some of my bolts.Yes I know you can heat them and pull them out,but why not cut them off?

He.s right,I hit one low yesterday and he ran.When I went looking for him I saw him by a tree and walked up to him,5 feet away I was standing and he got up and ran.I saw where he went but didn't wait long enough again,he sat down again for a minute then got up.This happened over and over for an hour...

Nothing all week,but this weekend is good.
I have been out all week and nothing.I have seen some running around,but they are all staying buy the roads.Nothing is going into the bush yet where my stands are.There are no rubs or scrapes anywhere.Where I hunt there are no grain fields,so I don't know where they are all hiding.It has been warmer...

New scope
I got the Vari-zone scope today,wow that thing works great.Followed the directions and by the fourth shot I was right on target.I had my bolts grouping two and two together,but with the scope they all hit the same spot.

Even though I have always said "if you can't hit it at 30 yards with the fibre optics you souldn't be in the bush",I was thinking of getting a scope for my Paradox,what one should I get.
