Thanks Bob:

That's pretty much what I did - eyeball it. It is just that people were so emphatic about the numerical value of the offset I thought that I was missing something. Wayne

Using Grayling Fletcher - Help with Offset.

I have a question:

Many of you mention that you use 4 degree or 8 degree offset for your fletching. How do you determine the degrees of offset on the Grayling Fletcher? Is there an adjustment with a scale on it? I don't see one.
:?
Thanks, Wayne

I lived through Hurricane Andrew when I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Fortunately it went south to Homestead just before making landfall so we got off relative easy compared to the devastation there. Pack up your crossbow and get your firearm ready if Katrina was any indication of what is to come. H...

I too am surprised at the response from them purely from a business standpoint. You got my support Wabi.

So where is a good place to buy equipment and supplies?

The .003 was advertised on the seller's website and the .005 was on the wrap on the bolt.

I agree with Bstout. I called the company while awaiting a PM from him and they called the warehouse and assured me that that is the correct bolts and that it is purely done for legal reasons.

They shoot great anyway. I'm happy. :D

I had the same issue with them when there were parts missing (not included in the undamaged box.) I called and was very explicit as to what was missing and they sent me the wrong parts. Finally gave up and sent the whole thing back and that sad story I related above. The quality of their stuff I ord...

Does Ohio allow regular crossbow hunting? Here in Pa. it is by disabled permit only which depending on how you look at it I luckily have because of my shoulder.

I called the company and they told me that the bolts are .003 but legally they have to put .005 on the wraps "in case their might be 1 or 2 in the bunch that fall into that category.)?

Sounds nuts to me.

I had a similar problem with them a few months back. I used their prepaid label, proved to them that they had received the broken item (a real piece of junk clay bird thrower - sit down type) and they verified it but would not issue a refund due to continuous delays and "I'll get back to you&qu...
