Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
any body got a pic of a animal that was taken with one! There's pictures here: https://www.facebook.com/FlyingArrowArchery Some impressive kills with the broadhead. As I posted before I think they are real good broadheads but if you're pleased with what you're using, then why switch. I like ST 100g...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
I had the opportunity to extensively the Toxic BH before they were readily available Their flight was same as 100gr field tips. accuracy was great, shot to same point of impact out to 40yds. Penetration was great Punched through a 900lb steer carcass from 25yds with no problem, that was doing 329FPS...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
After years of trying more broadheads than I have time to name, I've had the opportunity to use the new Toxic Broadheads. They come in 100-125gr and after shooting 2 big Russian hogs (almost 300lbs each) and a little guy (90-100lbs) I can tell you I've never seen a blood trail like this in my 37 ye...

Rubber electrical tape Works good Stretches as you put it on so you can get it real tight. I get the type that you peel the paper backing off to expose the sticky side

Just the part that touches the arrow; a piece about 1&1/2inches long is plenty

Re: Shrink wrap arrow retainer?
Local Auto Parts store will have black shrink tubing, very inexpensive. It comes in various diameters. Put a piece on the arrow retainer and use a lighter to shrink it down. It will be tight and won't come off. Works great!

Re: deer smoke screen
I think the deer associate the gas/oil/exhaust smell with danger as it is only there when you are there. I think they also associate the noise of it arriving with danger and once they hear it leave the danger is gone. A cover scent might work but it may scare them as it will only be noticeable when ...

Re: Miss Vixen spoke in Viola
I've shot three deer with Toxic BH's. All three were pass through and blood trails was good. All three shot through top of the lungs. One ran about 100yds other two about 50 - 70yds. I'm impressed with their performance but I will see how they perform in the long run. Three live deer is not anywhere...
